Can I see the container before I buy it? Can I come look and pick one out? 

 

These containers are at a large commercial yard where we lease space, and commercial depots aren't open to the public without a release number to pickup a container with your own trailer. Also, your container is not loaded up onto a truck to go out for delivery for a couple days after payment, and there are other containers going out in the meantime, so we don’t know exactly which container on the stack you will get. 

 

They are inspected closely before they leave the yard- Inspection guarantees the floors are in good shape with no boards chipping or coming up, seals and hinges on doors are functioning and seal up, as well as no corrosion or structural damage, they will have some surface rust and dents but nothing excessive or causing leaks/corrosion. 

 

We also encourage you to inspect them closely when I get to your property before it's unloaded off of the truck, and if there are any issues your purchase includes a 5 year structural and 1 year no leak warranty.

 

What are the containers made out of?

Shipping containers are made out of 14 gauge corrugated steel. The floors are made from steel cross-members covered with 1 1/4 inch-thick marine-grade plywood pre-treated to be water resistant and pest-proof.

Can I pick color? 

 

These containers are at a large commercial yard and come off the assorted stack next up for delivery, so we aren't able to know exactly what color you’ll get. 

 

We do recommend to paint them, you can get paint and spray equipment fairly cheap from a local home store and it will also help prevent rust and corrosion!

What is the condition of a used container?

We guarantee the containers condition regarding its function, meaning it will seal up water tight, doors and seals function properly to keep out rodents and Mother Nature, no dents large enough to compromise structural integrity, and surface rust only, none eating through the steel to cause leaks.

Some do look better than others, they are 10-15 years old and some have more rust and dents than others, so there is some variance on how they look.

If looks are cosmetic condition are priorities, than I would recommend a one trip, since they have only made one trip over from china and won’t have any dents or rust. I will send you prices for a one trip as well.

How fast can you get it to me? 

​

We average about 7-10 days out on delivery. 

​

Once your order is paid in full, our logistics team will assign a container to your order. 

​

How our process works is we will get your order in, and within 24 hours someone from our home office will give you a call and confirm your order and just make sure everyone's on the same page. 

 

Within 2-3 days our logistics team will call you to schedule a date and time to meet you and deliver the containers. We also call you the day of delivery to make sure you’re still good to go for delivery. Lots of communication! 

 

Can I pay cash on delivery? 

 

We contract out delivery to 3rd party local trucking, so we do take payment upfront since the drivers don’t work directly for us. 

 

Our options for payment are credit/debit card, wire transfer, or ach (echeck). If you have a paper check, we do have the option use the link at the bottom of the invoice to enter your routing and account number to run your paper check electronically. 

 

Requiring payment up front can be uncomfortable on an item you haven't seen yet, but we guarantee our containers to meet the quality standard we advertise in our warranty. Also it’s a bit safer to pay with a card on a purchase like this because you get fraud protection through your bank or cc company. 

 

How do I know you’re not a scam? I'm not sure I want to pay upfront
